Job summary

Compass Project Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Commercial/Quantity Surveying professional to lead cost management on major real estate or development projects in Riyadh. The role focuses on budgeting, cost control, procurement strategy and contract packaging.

You will manage cost reports, cash flow forecasts, change registers, and risk allowances, while directing commercial negotiations and ensuring governance and client interests are protected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive cost management, contract administration, procurement, claims management, and commercial negotiations experience.
• Strong PMO reporting, budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and financial management experience.
• Saudi Arabia / GCC experience preferred.
• Arabic-speaking candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Qualifications

• 17+ years of experience in commercial management and/or cost management, preferably within major real estate or development projects.
• Strong experience working with property developers or real estate developers is essential.
• Previous client-side, PMC, or consultancy experience is preferred.
• Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in cost management, contract administration, procurement, claims management, and commercial negotiations.
• Strong experience in PMO reporting, budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and financial management.
• Saudi Arabia / GCC experience is preferred.
• MRICS, RICS, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
