You will lead commercial strategies, provide financial insight and reporting, manage contractual matters, and drive best practices in cost control and commercial management across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• Significant experience in commercial management and cost control on major projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, governance and budgeting.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, claims, variations and complex contractual matters.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer consultant and contractor contracts per terms and procedures.
• Lead end-to-end change management, variations, amendments and events.
• Maintain change logs, commitment registers and commercial trackers.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, budget updates and dashboards.
• Develop cashflow forecasts and monitor expenditure against forecast.
• Review payments, invoices and milestones for contractual compliance.
• Identify overruns, escalate issues and support mitigation actions.
• Assist in tender documentation, bid evaluations and contract award recommendations.
• Review submissions, fees and claims for value for money and compliance.
• Negotiate and document contractor/consultant claims where needed.
• Monitor risk and contractual exposure, maintaining risk registers.
