Job summary

Parsons in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is seeking aSenior Commercial Manager for Airport Infrastructure to lead the project commercial framework across terminals, airfield infrastructure, and related civil works. You will oversee cost control, claims, variations, procurement support, and financial governance, coordinating with project controls, planning, engineering, and finance teams to protect profitability.

The role requires a bachelor degree in a relevant field and at least 15 years of experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• At least 15 years of relevant commercial experience across major construction, infrastructure, airport, or multidisciplinary developments.
• Experience administering main contracts and managing subcontract packages; strong commercial judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project commercial function and manage the performance of the commercial team.
• Establish and implement project-specific commercial management procedures, controls, and reporting structures.
• Align commercial activities with approved budgets, contractual requirements, project objectives, and company governance.
• Provide senior commercial guidance to the Project Director and project leadership.
• Review contract conditions, scope requirements, entitlement provisions, obligations, and commercial responsibilities.
• Administer the main contract and support commercial management of key subcontract packages.
• Monitor contractual compliance and identify obligations requiring action by project teams.
• Lead preparation and maintenance of project budgets and commercial forecasts.
• Monitor actual and committed cost against approved control accounts.
• Review payment applications and associated commercial substantiation.
• Coordinate with Finance teams regarding invoicing, receivables, cash flow, and forecast accuracy.
• Help resolve delayed or disputed payments.
• Lead commercial negotiations with Client, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
