Job summary

Olayancareer is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, govern, and deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions across GCP, Azure, and OCI. The role leads migrations, defines landing zones, and enables IaC and DevOps practices for reliable service delivery aligned with business goals.

The candidate will drive governance, security, and compliance, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate with customers and partners to implement modern cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in cloud architecture, cloud consulting, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale cloud migration and modernization.
• Hands-on with public clouds, DevOps, Terraform, containers, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud architectures for enterprise workloads across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Lead enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives using industry best practices.
• Define and implement cloud landing zones that meet governance, security, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Ensure operational readiness through monitoring, logging, observability, disaster recovery, and reliability best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent automation tools.
• Support the implementation of DevOps and platform engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Develop cloud architecture strategies aligned with organizational objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Define migration approaches, including rehost, replatform, refactor, rebuild, and replace strategies.
• Evaluate cloud solutions and recommend scalable, secure, and cost-effective architecture designs.
• Contribute to cloud adoption roadmaps and modernization plans.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using cloud-native services and automation technologies.
• Develop reusable cloud architecture patterns, standards, and deployment frameworks.
• Promote DevOps, DevSecOps, containerization, and automation best practices across projects.
• Support continuous improvement of cloud platforms and infrastructure capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout cloud migration and transformation projects.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and DevOps teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions.
• Support pre-sales activities by conducting architecture workshops, developing solution designs, and contributing to technical proposals.
• Engage with customers and cloud service providers to align technical solutions with business requirements.
• Ensure cloud architectures comply with organizational governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote cloud architecture standards, best practices, and enterprise design principles.
• Incorporate identity and access management (IAM), security controls, and resilience into solution designs.
