Job summary

Salt is seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Architect to define and govern enterprise cloud solutions across Azure and GCP for strategic, customer-facing engagements. You will balance business needs with security/compliance, operational practicality, and delivery timelines, guiding both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years IT/cloud experience with architecture and customer-facing design.
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• Experience with migration, hybrid/multi-cloud projects and security/compliance controls.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end cloud solution architecture for assigned engagements.
• Design secure, scalable Azure/GCP architectures (landing zones, networking, identity, security, monitoring, governance).
• Translate requirements into architecture decisions, HLDs/LLDs and implementation roadmaps.
• Lead migration/modernization, hybrid and multi-cloud integration, backup and resilience.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to validate approaches and resolve issues/risks.
• Ensure architectures meet security/compliance standards, including regulated industries.
• Support workshops, architecture walkthroughs and customer communication.
• Contribute to proposals, BoM inputs and design assumptions.
• Guide Infrastructure as Code adoption using Terraform, Bicep/ARM; mentor peers.
