Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior GCP Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build and support enterprise-scale Google Cloud Platform environments. The role focuses on hands-on cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, and DevOps to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions.

Responsibilities include building landing zones with Terraform, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and migrating applications. Strong knowledge of GCP, IaC, Kubernetes, and security is required for collaboration with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Cloud Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure or DevOps.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expert knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience designing and deploying enterprise cloud landing zones.
• Strong experience with Git-based CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or Google Cloud Build.
• Experience with Kubernetes (GKE), cloud networking, IAM and cloud security.
• Proven experience supporting cloud migration and application modernization projects.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
