Job summary

Linnk Group is seeking a Cloud Engineer & Migration Specialist in Riyadh to execute and automate large-scale Google Cloud Platform migrations. You will handle rehost, replatform, and refactor strategies, build Terraform-based automation, and ensure data integrity after migration.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud migrations, hands-on GCP tools, Docker/Kubernetes, and scripting skills. This is a 12-month on-site engagement based in Riyadh with preference for Saudi nationals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in cloud migration projects
• Hands-on with Migrate for Compute Engine, Database Migration Service (DMS), Datastream
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerized environments
• Strong networking, storage, and OS skills
• Python/Bash scripting for automation
• Relevant certification: Google Professional Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Database Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute Rehost, Replatform, Refactor migration approaches
• Build automation using Terraform and Migration Center
• Validate and test post-migration data integrity
• Monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot migration issues
• Document standardized operational procedures
• Support GCVE decommissioning and DR site closure
