Job summary

Muscat Engineering Consultancy LLC in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead design activities for major Oil & Gas projects. You will drive technical solutions, coordinate with PMs, contractors, and regulators, and ensure deliverables meet strict standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering, 10–15 years of design experience, and SCE registration, with strong English and leadership skills. On-site role with opportunities for process improvement and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 10–15 years of experience in Design Engineering of Oil & Gas projects, with minimum 2 years in Saudi Arabia.
• Must be registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and knowledge of industry codes and standards (Saudi Aramco aligned).
• Proficient in English; Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to plan, design, and execute engineering projects based on technical specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• Prepare and review reports, technical documentation, cost and manpower estimates, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide engineering solutions during construction or operations.
• Participate in progress meetings, quality checks, and audits.
• Apply continuous improvement and innovation to project work.
• Train and encourage staff development in process and systems engineering roles.
• Participate in discipline design reviews, model reviews, HAZOP/HAZID, best practices.
