Job summary

Penta Consulting, a technology service provider, is seeking a Cisco Network Engineer to design, deploy and support complex Cisco networking environments for enterprise customers in the region.

You will work on Catalyst/Nexus/ISR/ASR platforms, troubleshoot routing protocols, support SD‑WAN/SD‑Access, and contribute to network automation using Python, Ansible, NETCONF/YANG, and REST APIs. Collaboration across Arista and Juniper is common.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting Cisco networking environments.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, and ASR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, and ASR platforms.
• Troubleshoot and maintain routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, QoS, VRFs, HSRP/VRRP, and VLANs.
• Manage incidents, changes, and root cause analysis across enterprise environments.
• Produce network design and operational documentation.
• Support SD-WAN and SD-Access environments.
• Contribute to network automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, NETCONF/YANG, and REST APIs.
• Work with tools such as Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC), ThousandEyes, NSO, and Crosswork.
• Support security and wireless technologies including ASA/FTD Firewalls and Cisco Wireless.
• Collaborate across multi‑vendor environments including Arista and Juniper networks.
