Job summary

Kanoo Unimech in Saudi Arabia seeks a CAD/CAM Programmer/Technician to develop CNC programs for complex components used in Oil & Gas applications. You will create tool paths, drawings, and process documentation to support efficient manufacturing and lean cycles.

The role requires 5–10 years of CNC programming experience, multi-axis machining expertise, and proficiency in CAD/CAM software. On-site engineering collaboration and continual process improvement are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
• CAD/CAM certification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for 3-axis to 5-axis machining centers.
• Generate machining tool paths using CAD/CAM software.
• Create manufacturing drawings and machining process documentation.
• Optimize machining strategies to improve productivity and reduce cycle times.
• Verify machining programs through simulation before production.
• Prepare setup sheets, tooling lists, and work instructions.
• Interpret customer drawings, GD&T, and engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Planning teams.
• Resolve machining and programming issues during production.
