Job Purpose

The job holder is responsible for conducting Business Development amp Partnerships activities to foster WTCO s development and maximizing the financial gains to achieve WTCO s overall objectives

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure work is performed based on approved policies processes procedures and instructions
• Implement and constantly evaluate commercial strategies and frameworks for designated markets to attract investors partners
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis on potential business development opportunities including financial statements economic data market trends innovation trends and start-ups directly relating to WTCO s mandate in coordination with concerned business units
• Conduct the ideation and brainstorming process of innovative solutions concepts
• Ensure business case development in regulated amp unregulated businesses aligned with WTCO strategy and in coordination with concerned business units and stakeholders
• Analyze and assess business and market trends in the water sector and lead the evaluation and selection of business development opportunities in alignment with WTCO s strategy
• Ensure conducting WTCO s commercial strategy value proposition and framework for business opportunities promotion and investment execution
• Implement the developed tools templates and standards for effective stakeholders management at the portfolio program project level
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational drivers challenges and form strong strategic relationships
• Review the development of analytical models and tools used to address identified business challenges

• Participate in identifying local advantages and tangible and intangible factors to attract new investors partners both nationally and internationally
• Participate in identifying and sourcing potential investors partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls emails and investor visits
• Assist in conducting internal investment research activities and evaluate existing and prospective investment capital markets and other related investment topics from quantitative and qualitative perspectives
• Ensure the analysis of market generated to develop recommendations and value propositions for investors partners
• Expand professional networks to build and maintain relationships within the water sector to ensure delivering WTCO s strategic goals
• Keep relationships with investees by maintaining good communications with investees for risk monitoring and support business development efforts such as follow-on investments technical advisory service delivery etc

• Reach out to any potential local international investor and collaborate consortiums JVs etc on generating business opportunities in adherence to relevant regulations and bylaws
• Execute major investment decisions based on mergers amp acquisitions opportunities assessments and business cases in line with WTCO strategy
• Assist in events and activities that will help raise WTCO s profile globally as a major center of innovation and growth for international business investors
• Stay updated on the most recent developments in the financial market to recommend the optimal plan
• Provide input for the development of reports regarding operations activities and achievements for reporting and decision-making
