Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Saudi Arabia seeks a seasoned Structural Inspector for Stadium Projects to assess bridges and related structures, performing routine and specialized inspections using visual, non-destructive testing and instrumentation.

You will document findings, prepare comprehensive reports, collaborate with engineering teams to develop repair plans, mentor junior staff, and communicate results to clients and regulators, with occasional site travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Master's degree a plus; PE license preferred.
• 8–12 years of bridge inspection/structural assessment experience.
• Knowledge of AASHTO, ASCE, FHWA standards.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to convey technical information.
• Proficient with inspection tools, software, and equipment.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized inspections of bridges and related structures to assess structural integrity and safety.
• Use visual, non-destructive testing, and instrumentation to evaluate bridge conditions.
• Document findings with detailed reports on deterioration, damage, and hazards.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports with recommendations for maintenance or repairs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop repair/maintenance plans.
• Stay updated on bridge inspection standards and regulations.
• Provide guidance to junior inspectors and staff.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to align activities.
• Communicate inspection results to regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
