Job summary

United Motors Company in Riyadh seeks an experienced automotive electrician to diagnose and repair complex electrical and electronic faults using specialized diagnostic equipment. You will ensure safety and repair quality in line with manufacturer standards.

You will interpret wiring diagrams, install and calibrate ECUs, diagnose CAN bus networks, and mentor junior technicians. Strong English communication and GCC experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in automotive electrical/electronic diagnostics and repairs.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and diagnostic equipment.
• Good English communication skills; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation to identify faults and determine repairs.
• Install, maintain, and repair wiring harnesses, control modules, alternators, starters, lighting systems, and sensors.
• Diagnose, program, code, and calibrate ECUs per manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose and repair CAN bus networks, driver-assistance systems, and hybrid/electric vehicle electricals where applicable.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to junior technicians.
• Conduct comprehensive testing after repairs to verify system performance, reliability and safety.
• Maintain diagnostic reports, service records, and repair documentation.
