At UNS, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate Business Development to lead and expand our presence in the KSA market. This role is pivotal in driving strategic growth, building strong client relationships, and identifying new opportunities in alignment with KSA’s initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the KSA market, a strong network within the architecture, interior design, construction, and real estate sectors, and a proven track record in business development. With a successful regional track record of expanding networks and winning work across the GCC, this role demands strategic leadership, stakeholder coordination, and client-facing capabilities to ensure long-lasting, valuable relationships.

Responsibilities

Market Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the Saudi Arabian market, aligned with UNS’s global objectives.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and projects within the region.

  • Monitor market trends, government initiatives, and industry developments to identify potential opportunities across target sectors.

  • Research and track upcoming projects, tenders, competitions, and development opportunities.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building/Management

  • Identify and approach potential clients, partners, and decision-makers.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, developers, contractors, and consultants.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients in Saudi Arabia, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.

  • Initiate conversations and secure introductory meetings for senior leadership.

  • Develop and nurture relationships to transform cold contacts into warm opportunities.

Representation & Networking

  • Represent UNS at key industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.

  • Act as a visible ambassador of the brand in client and market-facing situations.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to amplify presence and messaging.

Pipeline & Strategy

  • Lead the preparation of proposals, bids, and presentations for potential projects.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals align with UNS’s design philosophy and capabilities.

  • Build and maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools.

  • Work closely with leadership to align business development efforts with the firm’s strategic priorities.

  • Set and achieve revenue and growth targets for the Saudi Arabian market.

  • Track and report on business development activities, pipeline, and results.


What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, preferably within the architecture, construction, or real estate sectors.

  • Proven experience working in or with the KSA market, with a strong understanding of local business culture and regulations.

  • Track record of initiating and developing client relationships that led to project opportunities.
