Role Context The Senior Architect will provide site-based leadership for hardscape and public realm packages forming part of a major urban development in Diriyah. The program includes iconic and neighborhood parks, public open spaces, and more than 55 km of streetscape, requiring close control of architectural intent, constructability, interfaces, materials, workmanship, schedule, and stakeholder expectations. The role combines architectural and landscape coordination with project delivery responsibility. It will bridge design teams, construction supervision personnel, contractors, utilities, commercial functions, consultants, authorities, and the Client to ensure public realm assets are completed as coordinated, durable, accessible, and operationally suitable environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of assigned hardscape, streetscape, park, and public realm packages from mobilization through completion.
• Maintain oversight of project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and delivery risks.
• Ensure construction activities remain aligned with approved architectural and landscape design intent.
• Direct site-based supervision teams across assigned work fronts.

Ideal Profile

• The position requires a bachelor 's degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or another relevant discipline.
• Candidates should have between 10 and 15 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least five years of experience in a Project Manager or comparable delivery leadership capacity on significant public realm, infrastructure, mixed-use, or urban development projects is expected.
• Strong site-based construction supervision experience is essential.
• Candidates should have practical experience delivering parks, streetscapes, public open spaces, hardscape, landscape, or comparable urban realm projects.
• The successful candidate should understand public realm design principles and how they translate into buildable construction details.
• Knowledge of hardscape materials, paving, urban furniture, levels, interfaces, landscape construction, utilities, and streetscape infrastructure is important.
• Candidates should be capable of coordinating architecture, landscape, civil engineering, utilities, MEP, lighting, and adjacent development interfaces.
• Strong understanding of project scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and contractor performance management is required.
• Experience reviewing RFIs, shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, Method Statements, and technical queries is essential.
