  • Conduct daily inspections and regular site walks to assess progress, workmanship, planting quality, soil preparation, grading, layout and landscape finishing.
  • Verify plant species, sizes, quantities, spacing, health condition and installation locations against approved drawings and plant schedules.
  • Check levels, grading, bed shapes, edges, interfaces and transitions to ensure proper coordination with hardscape, utilities, structures and architectural elements.
  • Follow up on inspection requests, nonconformance reports, site observations and corrective actions until proper closure is achieved.
  • Work closely with hardscape architects, wet and dry utilities engineers, irrigation teams, structural teams, architectural teams and contractors to resolve site conflicts.
  • Review samples, mock-ups, trial planting areas, landscape materials and site furniture before full‑scale implementation.
  • Oversee plant delivery, handling, storage, installation and protection to ensure healthy planting and compliance with best horticultural practice.
  • Monitor initial maintenance and establishment activities including irrigation, fertilization, pruning, replacement planting and care of failed or stressed plants.
  • Review as‑built drawings and landscape operation and maintenance manuals for accuracy, completeness and handover readiness.
  • Participate in progress, technical and coordination meetings, providing clear input on landscape issues, risks, delays and mitigation measures.
  • Monitor the contractor's work programme, sequencing, resources and productivity for landscape packages.
  • Ensure HSE requirements are implemented across all landscape construction activities in line with Parsons and project policies.
  • Prepare daily reports, weekly site updates, quality reports, technical memos and discipline‑related correspondence as required.
  • Support inspections, snagging, de‑snagging, final handover and client acceptance of completed landscape areas.
