Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) seeks a Senior Architect to lead complex design projects and ensure regulatory compliance, coordinating with clients, consultants, and engineers. You will drive innovative solutions while upholding the highest quality standards.

The role requires mentoring junior designers, managing timelines and budgets, and reviewing drawings for accuracy. A Bachelor’s in Architecture and 8+ years of experience are expected, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional architecture experience, GCC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for complex projects, ensuring innovative and functional solutions that meet client needs and comply with regulations.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
• Mentor and guide junior architects and design team members, providing technical expertise and fostering professional development.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback.
• Ensure the technical accuracy and feasibility of designs, coordinating with engineering teams to address structural and technical challenges.
• Maintain high standards of design quality, reviewing and approving architectural plans and drawings for compliance and accuracy.
• Ensure that all designs and projects adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate collaboration between different stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants, to ensure project alignment and smooth execution.
• Prepare and oversee detailed architectural documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, integrating relevant advancements into the design process to enhance project outcomes.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies

The Senior Architect ensures all architectural requirements for the project are properly coordinated and complied with toachieve the full intent of the design, while maintaining the highest levels of quality and adhering toprogramming requirements.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and regulations to lead the design process and ensure compliance with standards.

Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp for conceptualization, drafting, and 3D modeling of architectural designs.

Strong communication and presentation skills to convey design concepts effectively to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

Leadership abilities to oversee and mentor junior architects, coordinate with consultants, and manage project timelines and budgets.

Creativity and innovation to develop unique design solutions that address client needs, enhance functionality, and contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of architectural projects.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
