Job summary

Vanderlande Industries Inc. is seeking a Controls Project Engineer for airport engineering. You will design and program PLC controls for material handling systems, deliver functional specs, and lead on-site commissioning in international projects with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a bachelor-level technical degree, 8+ years of project engineering experience, and strong PLC/SCADA skills (TIA Portal, Siemens S7, WinCC). Fluency in English is essential, with travel as part of the job.

Qualifications

A technical degree (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Industrial Automation, CS or Control Tech) at least bachelor level.
8+ years in a project engineering environment (system integration, design, delivery).
Knowledge of design practices and lifecycle.
Ability to develop PLC applications (TIA Portal, Siemens S7-300/400/1500).
Knowledge of SCADA platforms (WinCC, WebFactory).
Experience with cross-functional, global teams.

Responsibilities

Design and program PLC controls for material handling systems in airports.
Develop functional specifications with a multidisciplinary team.
Carry out detailed design, programming and testing of PLC software.
Commission systems on customer sites and validate hardware/software integration.
Monitor budget and schedule and take corrective actions when needed.
