Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. seeks a Controls Project Engineer to design, program and commission PLC controls for airport material handling systems.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality control solutions, develop specifications, and ensure on-time project delivery in an international environment. The role requires a bachelor-level technical degree and 8+ years in project engineering, with expertise in Siemens/S7, TIAPortal, and SCADA, plus strong English

Qualifications

Bachelor-level technical degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Industrial Automation, Computer Science or Control Technology.
Experience in material handling domain is an advantage.
8+ years in a project engineering environment (system integration, solution design, project delivery).
Proficiency in PLC programming and design (TIA Portal, Siemens S7 series).
Knowledge of fieldbus technologies: Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, AS-I, CC-Link.
Experience with safety PLCs (Siemens) and related platforms.
Strong English communication, cross-functional and international teamwork.

Responsibilities

Design and program PLC controls for material handling systems in airports.
Develop Functional Specifications and perform detailed design, programming and testing of PLC software.
On-site commissioning and integration with overall control system; support customer acceptance testing.
Monitor project budget and schedule; ensure earned value management and timely milestones.
Collaborate with Project Leader, Integration Manager, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.
