Job summary

SAP is seeking an AI Engineer-in-Training to contribute to design, development, and operation of AI-native enterprise applications. You will join fast-moving, customer-embedded delivery teams and apply solid Python engineering skills in cloud-native environments, with growing AI/ML knowledge and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

As part of SAP AI initiatives, you will work with models, pipelines, and SAP technologies to build production-grade solutions for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Solid software engineering fundamentals with Python experience.
• Experience in at least one cloud-native development environment.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and frameworks.
• Exposure to data pipelines or MLOps in application contexts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, and operation of AI-native enterprise applications within delivery teams.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and customer needs.
• Implement features and integrations with guidance from senior engineers.
• Support prototyping, testing, and iteration of AI solutions in customer environments.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions to improve solutions.
• Assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving deployed solutions.
