Job summary

Devoteam in Riyadh is seeking an AI Engineer to build enterprise-grade LLM applications, optimize inference, and develop robust evaluation pipelines. You will work with open-source and commercial foundation models, designing reusable components for enterprise AI solutions.

The role requires 7+ years in AI engineering and strong client-facing skills, with a focus on cloud/on-premise/hybrid deployments, Docker/Kubernetes, and scalable AI workloads. This is a full-time, on-site position in Riyadh.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or AI-related field.
• Experience deploying AI/ML workloads to cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, GPU infra and cloud AI/ML services.
• Ability to implement model versioning, experiment tracking, monitoring, and CI/CD for ML systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; client-facing mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise-grade LLM applications using RAG, tool calling, structured generation, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration.
• Implement and optimize LLM inference including model serving, quantization, caching, batching, and GPU utilization.
• Develop LLM evaluation frameworks covering accuracy, relevance, hallucination, safety, latency, and cost.
• Work with open-source and commercial foundation models and assess their suitability for use cases.
• Create reusable components for enterprise AI apps: knowledge retrieval, model gateways, evaluation pipelines, and agent orchestration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build enterprise-grade LLM applications using techniques such as RAG, tool calling, structured generation, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
• Implement and optimize LLM inference, including model serving, quantization, caching, batching, and GPU utilization where relevant.
• Develop LLM evaluation frameworks covering accuracy, relevance, hallucination, safety, latency, and cost.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Implement model versioning, experiment tracking, monitoring, logging, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Optimize AI workloads for scalability, reliability, latency, and cost.
• Troubleshoot production AI systems and continuously improve system performance

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems (CIS), AI and Data.

Professional Experience

• 7+years of experience in AI Engineering.

• Experience working with [Clients / Government / Consulting / GCC / Saudi market].
