MSD Gulf is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team in Saudi Arabia, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting under US GAAP, while maintaining strong controls.

You will partner with the finance leadership, oversee month-end closes, coordinate audits, manage disbursements, and drive SAP FI implementation and financial planning activities, with a focus on governance and process improvement.

Qualificações

• Qualified accountant with Big 4 background preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting/finance; 2+ years in people management.
• Pharma industry experience preferred.
• Strong project management and ability to operate in a matrix organization.
• Fluency in English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Record financial transactions and perform monthly close to report US GAAP to Europe and US consolidation teams.
• Perform account analyses and reconciliations to meet internal policies, SOX requirements and controls.
• Assist external auditors during the annual statutory audit with documentation and support.
• Analyze operating expenses by cost center and division for financial insight.
• Coordinate with SSC, internal audit, consolidation, payroll, tax and treasury stakeholders.
• Assist the CFO in leading the accounting team and driving improvements.
• Undertake ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
