Job summary

Qureos, based in Riyadh, seeks an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain precise records and ensure VAT/ZATCA compliance. You will support budgeting, payroll and audits while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in SAP/Oracle and strong Excel skills. Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred, and SOCPA credentials are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Knowledge of VAT and ZATCA regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• SOCPA membership or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Monitor company expenses, payments, invoices and financial transactions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi accounting standards, VAT regulations and ZATCA requirements.
• Assist with VAT filings, tax documentation and statutory reporting.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost allocation.
• Support payroll accounting and employee expense reimbursements.
• Assist with internal and external audits and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using the company's financial systems.
