Qualifications

• Proven experience as an accountant for a minimum of 3 years.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department.
• Supervise daily financial transactions.
• Ensure the application of accounting and financial standards and principles.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Facilitate and complete monthly and annual closing procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end procedures related to the Finance Department.
• Cooperate with the finance manager in completing accounts.
• Prepare a preliminary report on the financial accounts.
• Review, verify, and correct errors and discrepancies in financial entries.
• Monitor the fixed assets system and prepare reports.
• Maintain the general ledger and post daily entries.
• Assist in company audits.
