Job summary

YAX is seeking a Senior Accountant in Riyadh to support financial reporting, accounting operations, and business decision-making. The role covers daily accounting, closing processes, budgeting, and liaising with auditors and banks.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, strong knowledge of GAAP, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software, with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience as Senior Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with GL, AP, AR, and month-end closing.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including AP/AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in line with standards and policies.
• Review journal entries and supporting documents.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial transactions.
• Support month-end/year-end closings and forecasts.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure tax and regulatory compliance and internal controls.
• Identify process improvements and support efficient procedures.
• Prepare financial analysis to aid business decisions.
