Job summary

Client of Discovered MENA in Saudi Arabia is seeking an Account Director to drive growth for regional clients across live events, exhibitions and brand activations. You will lead a team of account and delivery professionals, manage end-to-end delivery, and ensure profitability and strong client relationships.

The role requires extensive GCC experience, a proven track record in pitches and account expansion, and leadership of multi-disciplinary teams while adhering to local regulations and health

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years experience within the UAE or GCC events, exhibitions, or experiential sectors.
• Proven background managing large scale live events, corporate exhibitions, and government activations.
• Strong commercial background with direct experience managing project budgets, scope changes, and financial forecasts.
• Demonstrated success leading pitches, presenting to senior stakeholders, and expanding existing accounts.
• Solid operational background with clear understanding of local venue rules, health and safety guidelines, and production workflows.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing agency account management or delivery teams.
• UAE driving license preferred.
• Arabic Speakers highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive annual revenue targets and maintain profit margins across assigned regional accounts.
• Act as senior contact for key regional clients, commercial partners and government entities.
• Lead the end to end execution of live events, trade exhibitions, conferences and experiential brand activations.
• Collaborate with creative, production, technical and operational teams to maintain high quality delivery standards on site.
• Lead strategic account reviews, pitches, tenders and commercial growth proposals for new and existing clients.
• Provide leadership guidance and support to account managers and project delivery teams.
• Manage budget control, variation orders and overall account profitability alongside finance teams.
