Nesma Infrastructure & Technology in Saudi Arabia seeks a senior Power Transmission Project Leader to drive the delivery of large EPC HVDC projects. You will oversee planning, engineering, procurement, logistics, installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with IEC, IEEE, CIGRÉ and client standards.

The role requires 12–18 years in power transmission, with 5–8 years in 380 kV, and strong leadership, budgeting, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 12–18 years of experience in power transmission projects.
• 5–8 years in 380 KV / 380OHTL / UGC projects.
• Proven track record managing large EPC projects in energy/power.
• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, CIGRÉ and client standards (SE).
• Excellent project management, contractual, and leadership skills.
• Strong English communication and negotiation skills.
• Strategic project leadership with HVDC technical expertise.
• Strong stakeholder and contract management.
• Budget, cash flow, and schedule control.
• Commitment to HSE and quality excellence.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage overall delivery of power transmission project in compliance with contract and standards.
• Develop execution strategies, schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee planning, engineering, procurement, logistics, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure integration of converter stations, substations, control & protection, and lines.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Interface with SEC and consultants; manage subcontractors and OEMs.
• Conduct progress reviews with transparent reporting.
• Review engineering deliverables and ensure quality per IEC/IEEE and client standards.
• Support testing, commissioning, energization procedures.
• Control project budget, cash flow, and resources.
• Review claims and variations; manage invoicing and payments.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams; coach site engineers.
• Foster safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Drive HSE compliance and client regulatory requirements.
