Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee daily security operations and lead frontline personnel to ensure safe, compliant security services across assigned areas. Reporting to the Security Manager, you will implement SOPs, manage access control, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors.

The role requires 2–4 years in security, leadership ability, and the capacity to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in security, facilities, or related field with supervisory experience desirable.
  • Experience with access control, visitor management, patrolling, and incident reporting preferred.
  • Certifications in security, safety, emergency response, or crisis management are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily security operations and deployment of personnel across posts and gates.
  • Implement post orders and access control requirements per Security Manager instructions.
  • Confirm attendance, coverage, and shift handovers at each shift.
  • Monitor performance, conduct inspections, and address compliance gaps.
  • Lead initial responses to incidents and emergencies; document actions.
  • Prepare daily security reports and incident summaries for review.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to maintain smooth operations.

Position Overview

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations and leading frontline security personnel to ensure the delivery of safe, secure, and compliant security services across assigned areas. Reporting to the Security Manager, the role provides operational leadership, ensures effective implementation of security procedures, and supports the protection of people, assets, facilities, and business operations. The Supervisor serves as a key liaison between security leadership, internal stakeholders, and security teams, driving operational excellence, incident management, and continuous adherence to security standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily security operations and ensure effective deployment of security personnel across posts, gates, patrols, reception, and other assigned areas.
  • Implement post orders, SOPs, access control requirements, visitor management procedures, and security instructions issued by the Security Manager.
  • Confirm attendance, manpower coverage, shift handover, and readiness of the team at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Monitor security performance, conduct post inspections, verify patrol activity, and correct any gaps in behavior, documentation, or compliance.
  • Lead the initial response to security incidents, emergencies, access violations, suspicious activity, or operational disruptions, and escape as required.
  • Prepare daily security reports, incident summaries, observations, attendance updates, and action tracking for Security Manager review.
  • Guide Security personnel, assign tasks, and ensure instructions are understood and followed consistently.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, visitors, and external security vendors to support smooth security operations.
  • Support investigations by collecting statements, access records, and preliminary facts in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Identify operational risks, non-compliance, repeated issues, and improvement opportunities, then recommend corrective actions to the Security Manager.
  • Support training, coaching, and on-the-job guidance for new or existing security personnel.
  • Perform any job-related activities as requested or assigned by the immediate manager.
Skills
  • Strong leadership, supervision, and security team coordination skills.
  • Solid understanding of physical security operations, access control, patrolling, visitor management, and incident response.
  • Ability to apply SOPs, post orders, escalation procedures, and operational instructions consistently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction and professional updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Good judgment, discipline, and decision-making under pressure during incidents or emergencies.
  • Ability to prepare clear daily reports, incident reports, handover notes, and compliance observations.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, emotional control, and accountability.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, resolve Security issues, and coordinate coverage in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and basic use of security systems or reporting tools.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of experience in security operations within industrial, manufacturing, corporate, or large-scale facility environments, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Experience with access control, visitor management, patrolling, incident reporting, and security contractor coordination is preferred.
  • Security, safety, emergency response, first aid, or crisis management certifications are preferred.
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and be available for urgent operational requirements as needed.
  • Background in corporate security, military, law enforcement, or industrial security is an advantage.
