Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Sector Director for Mission Critical with a data centre focus in the Riyadh region. You will lead the regional strategy, oversee delivery of high‑quality consulting and engineering services, and drive growth across data centres and adjacent mission‑critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related technical discipline.
• Master’s degree preferred in engineering management, MBA, or data-centre engineering.
• 15+ years in mission-critical / data centre projects, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of data centre MEP/HVAC, electrical redundancy, Uptime Institute standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute regional strategy for mission-critical data centres; own sector architecture and sub-sector strategies.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
• Expand WSP’s footprint with hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centre clients.
• Strengthen relationships with key clients and ensure high client satisfaction.
• Oversee delivery of high-quality consulting/services and achieve P&L targets.
• Drive business development and strategic initiatives in the Middle East data centre market.
• Uphold quality, safety, and operational excellence across projects.
