Job summary

Air Products is seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer to lead design, implementation, and optimization of SCADA and related systems across renewable and hybrid assets. You will ensure seamless interoperability among SCADA, PPC, EMS, and SAS while maintaining OT cybersecurity and grid compliance.

The role requires 10+ years in SCADA/automation within renewable projects, with hands-on experience in IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3, Modbus, DLMS, and OPC UA, and familiarity with Solar, Wind, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control or related Engineering discipline.
• 10+ years SCADA and automation experience with renewable assets.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3, Modbus, DLMS, OPC UA etc.
• Hands-on experience with Solar, Wind and BESS facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, operation, and optimization of SCADA, PPC, EMS, SAS ensuring integration across renewable, hybrid, and grid-connected assets.
• Lead grid code compliance and performance validation activities.
• Drive OT cybersecurity compliance and network architecture reviews according to NCA, OTCC, ISA62443.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and remediation planning
• Support RTDS and HIL activities
• Coordinate EPCs, OEMs, utilities and stakeholders.
• Coordinate site troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Ensure HCIS SEC compliance for the project
• Support for Site Performance Management
