Job summary

SLS The Red Sea is seeking a Paymaster to ensure accurate, on-time payroll processing in a hospitality environment on the Red Sea coast. You will verify data, manage month-end activities, and support finance while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with local regulations.

The role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and excellent English communication. Proficiency in Excel and payroll systems is preferred to drive accurate payroll outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing and month-end close.
• Knowledge of payroll concepts: attendance, leaves, overtime, deductions, and benefits.
• Familiarity with Saudi labor regulations and payroll-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Calculate and verify salaries, allowances, overtime, deductions, and other payroll adjustments.
• Review attendance, leave, sick leave, and other payroll-related data before payroll processing.
• Coordinate with People & Culture and department leaders to ensure inputs are complete and accurate.
• Maintain confidential payroll records and system data.
• Review new joiners, leavers, transfers, promotions, and salary changes for correct processing.
• Prepare payroll reports, summaries, reconciliations, and month-end documentation.
• Ensure payroll practices comply with Saudi labor regulations and internal controls.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries promptly.
• Support Finance with payroll-related journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain organized and audit-ready payroll documentation.
• Handle all employee payroll information with strict confidentiality and professionalism.
