Saudi IFRS Accountant — Tax, Payroll & Compliance

Job summary

GLOMACS Training & Consultancy in Riyadh is seeking an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, monthly closings, and full compliance with Saudi tax and regulatory requirements.

You will handle bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, IFRS reporting, and payroll support under Saudi Labor Law, with ERP experience welcome.

Fluent English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage. SOCPA or CMA/CPA/ACCA is a plus, and experience with SAP/Oracle/ERP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
• Hands-on knowledge of ZATCA regulations (VAT, Zakat, WHT, e-invoicing).
• Solid understanding of IFRS and Saudi Labor Law / GOSI.
• Experience with SAP / Oracle / Odoo / Zoho / QuickBooks or similar ERP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• SOCPA membership, or CMA / CPA / ACCA, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions in the accounting system (journal entries, accruals, prepayments).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Perform bank, cash, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS as endorsed by SOCPA.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare and file VAT returns on time and maintain supporting records.
• Ensure invoices meet ZATCA e-invoicing requirements.
• Coordinate salary payments and payroll support in line with Saudi Labor Law.
• Assist with ZATCA reviews, queries, and audits.
• Prepare schedules for external auditors and maintain internal controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
