The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment at the HV substation site by implementing project HSE plans, enforcing safety rules, and promoting a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• 1- Implement the Project HSE Plan and client safety requirements.
• 2- Based on the project design document, execution scheme and project safety criteria, prepare the project safety control scheme and inspect the safety construction accordingly.
• 3- Participate in fieldwork for site daily inspection and evaluation of the safety situation.
• 4- Investigate and report the safety problems in a timely manner as per the regulations.
• 5- Investigate and handle the safety accident, and provide the investigation report timely.
• 6- Record the site safety situation strictly, and submit the safety inspection report timely.
• 7- Regularly organize the safety overhaul and safety training.
• 8- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
• 9- Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts.
• 10- Coordinate with Site Manager to control high-risk activities.
• 11- Conduct HSE induction and training for all site personnel.
• 12- Maintain HSE records, reports, and statistics.
• 13- Liaise with client HSE representatives and authorities when required.
