Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Inspect on site activities to identify and correct any discrepancies in the environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure that appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to the type of performed activities.
• Inspect and control purchased or existing equipment/material to prevent environmental, health and safety risk.
• Prevent potential incidents to staff/workers by controlling health and safety hazards and enforcing safety rules.
• React immediately to environmental, health and safety incident/accident and coordinate with the site administration in order to ensure the proper management of related ill health.
• Keep all record of all incident/accident, initiate a root cause analysis and coordinate with the Safety & Security Supervisor to take appropriate corrective actions.
• Underline any serious safety violation and stop the job whatever unsafe acts or condition are deemed to cause potential accidents.
• Make sure site offices, first aid and welfare facilities are in good condition and free of any safety hazards.
• Provide guidance and assistance to the personnel on applicable safety instruction and sure to communicate and updates regarding.
• Prepare and maintain Environmental, Health and Safety documents (logs, records).

Qualifications / Skills

• Important: The candidate should obtain Kawader Certificate (practitioner).
• Awareness on ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
