Role:Senior Maternity Nurse / Baby Nanny (Long-Term Potential)

Start:End of June / Early July
Salary:£70,000 – £90,000 gross per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours:12 hours per day, 6 days per week
Accommodation:Live-in, private bedroom and bathroom provided

The family are seeking a very experienced, careerMaternity Nurse / Baby Nannyto support them following the arrival of their new baby.

This is a calm, well-resourced household where both parents are keen to be actively involved in their child’s care, and they are looking for someone who can provide confident, knowledgeable support while working collaboratively and respectfully alongside them.

You will work 12-hour shifts, six days per week, as part of a two-person maternity care team. You will work alongside another Maternity Nurse / Baby Nanny, sharing responsibility for both day and night cover and rotating as required to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Flexibility is essential, as the role will involve a mixture of day and night shifts depending on the agreed rota and the baby’s needs at different stages.

While the family would consider an initial six-month booking, their strong preference is to find someone open to staying with them on a longer-term basis and evolving with the family beyond the maternity stage. Continuity, reliability, and a professional approach to longer-term support are highly valued.

You will provide high-level newborn care, responding to the individual needs of the baby and supporting the establishment of routines in line with the parents’ wishes. You will maintain an exceptionally clean, calm, and well-organised nursery environment and support the parents in a way that allows them to remain closely involved in day-to-day care. This role requires someone highly organised, hygienic, and routine-driven, with the confidence to anticipate needs while remaining supportive rather than directive. You will also assist with packing and preparation for travel.

The family do travel periodically, and you will be required to accompany them at times, providing consistent care across locations. Comfort with travel and adaptability to different environments are essential.

This role requires extensive newborn and infant experience, ideally with 20 or more years in the field. Maturity, confidence, and depth of practical knowledge are highly valued. The family are offering a salary in the region of £70,000 – £90,000 gross per annum, depending on experience, alongside comfortable live-in accommodation with a private bedroom and bathroom. No cooking or driving is required, as the household is fully staffed
