Qualifications

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Land/Road Surveyor to join our team for a mega infrastructure road development project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will conduct precise field surveys, support complex highway and infrastructure construction, and ensure full compliance with project specifications, Saudi standards, and authority requirements.

Your role
Field Surveying & Site Measurements
  • Conduct topographic, route, and engineering surveys for major road corridors, interchanges, utility corridors, and related civil works.
  • Perform setting out for road alignments, centerlines, curves, earthworks, utilities, and structures.
  • Establish and maintain survey control networks, benchmarks, and reference points across large project zones.
  • Operate advanced instruments: Total Station, GPS/GNSS RTK, Digital Level, Laser Scanner, etc.
Data Processing & Reporting
  • Process field data using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or Leica software.
  • Prepare survey drawings, profiles, cross-sections, and as-built records.
  • Validate levels, elevations, horizontal/vertical alignments, and DTM models.
  • Provide accurate survey inputs for earthworks quantities, grading, pavement layers, and drainage works.
Construction Support
  • Support construction teams with precise setting-out for highways, bridges, tunnels, drainage networks, and utility relocations.
  • Verify that construction works comply with IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings and project specifications.
  • Identify discrepancies and coordinate with engineers for corrective actions.
  • Assist during inspections with consultants and authorities.
Coordination & Documentation
  • Coordinate daily with site engineers, QA/QC, construction teams, and design consultants.
  • Maintain daily logs, survey reports, and equipment calibration records.
  • Prepare and submit as-built survey documents required for approvals and handover.
  • Ensure all survey activities are documented as per contract, consultant, and authority requirements.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Adhere to all QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) protocols on site.
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of all survey measurements.
  • Comply with KSA regulatory standards and requirements from authorities such as:
    • RCRC (Royal Commission for Riyadh City)
    • MOMRAH
    • Saudi Building Code
    • Ministry of Transport & Logistics Services (MOTLS)
Qualifications
About you
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.
  • Professional surveying certification is an asset.
Experience
  • 5–12 years of experience as a Land or Road Surveyor, ideally on mega or giga infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in highways, expressways, earthworks, utilities, and large-scale civil works.
  • Strong background working with global consultants and contractors in KSA or GCC.
