Job summary

Qualifications

Proven experience working as an automotive mechanic or similar role for 2+ years.
Proficiency in using various computer programs such as diagnostic software for vehicle repairs and maintenance records.
Knowledge of safety procedures when working with cars/vehicles.

Responsibilities

Diagnose malfunctions in vehicles and determine the necessary repairs.
Inspect vehicle engines and other components to identify problems correctly.
Troubleshoot issues and repair the necessary parts.
Test drive vehicles to verify repairs.
Replace worn or defective parts using hand tools or power tools as needed.
Provide accurate estimates on repair costs and completion times.
Perform regular maintenance on vehicles such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.
Explain the necessary repairs to customers clearly and accurately.
