Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to own the revenue close cycle and ensure IFRS 15 compliance across customer contracts. You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Commercial teams to reflect contract terms accurately in financial statements.

The role requires strong controls, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities during close cycles. You will also support auditors and drive process improvements within a growing mobility business.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualifications (CPA/ACCA/CMA/CA) completed or in progress.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in revenue accounting; Big 4 audit experience is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience applying IFRS 15 and IFRS 9 in multi-entity environments.

Responsabilidades

• Apply IFRS 15 to customer contracts, identify performance obligations and allocate transaction price.
• Review contracts for revenue accounting implications (variable consideration, discounts, rebates).
• Prepare and post monthly revenue journals, accruals, deferrals, and unbilled revenue adjustments.
• Own revenue and receivables close at month/quarter/year-end with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform revenue variance analysis vs budget/forecast/prior periods and support reports.
• Oversee billing accuracy, monitor AR aging and credit loss provisions; control order-to-cash processes.
• Act as primary contact for auditors on revenue matters; support system/process improvements; coach juniors.
