Job summary

Sofitel Riyadh Hotel & Convention Center is seeking a Reservations Agent to warmly welcome guests and reflect the premium experience the brand promises. You will handle room reservations, coordinate with Sales, and help guests with hotel facilities to ensure a seamless stay.

Proficiency in English and Arabic is preferred, with the ability to upsell services and maintain excellent guest relations in a luxury setting. On-site role in Riyadh.

Qualifications

• Experience with property management systems is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Book and enter reservation requests using the PMS.
• Enter rooming lists while ensuring accuracy.
• Update reservations to ensure a flawless check-in/check-out.
• Upsell guest rooms and hotel facilities to maximize revenue.
• Liaise with Sales and other departments as required.
• Answer telephone and email inquiries promptly.
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative way.
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards.
• Follow all safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

You are the beginning of an exceptional guest experience. As a Reservations Agent, you will make our guests feel welcome and reflect the exceptional experience the come when they arrive!

What You Will Be Doing

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Book and enter room reservation requests using the Property Management System
• Enter rooming lists while ensuring accuracy, as required
• Update reservations ensuring a flawless check in and check out process
• Ensure revenue is maximized by up-selling guest rooms and recommending hotel facilities
• Liaise with Sales and other departments as required
• Answer telephone and email inquiries in a timely manner
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous Property Manager System experience preferred
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Additional Information

• Understanding of Ultra-Luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.
• Experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control.
• A proactive, anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with Luxury standards.
• Experience is an asset
• Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
• Fluency in English and Arabic, additional languages are a plus
