Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an AI/ML Engineer for a fully remote role with partner organizations in Saudi Arabia and beyond. You will design, build, and deploy production AI systems for real-world challenges in healthcare, agriculture, education, and development, collaborating with researchers and embedded engineers.

Responsibilities include evaluating AI systems, contributing to open‑source tools, and mentoring partner staff while delivering measurable improvements and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in mathematics, deep learning, large language models (LLMs), and modern AI systems.
• At least 4 years of hands‑on machine learning engineering experience.
• At least 1–2 years of experience building LLM‑powered applications, including at least one production‑grade agent.
• Practical experience evaluating AI systems with dataset design and performance measurement.
• Proficiency in Python and hands‑on implementation.
• Fluency in prompting and context engineering for agentic systems.
• Experience deploying models in production with cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, evaluate, deploy, and improve machine learning systems and AI-powered applications for real-world use cases.
• Contribute to open-source AI evaluation infrastructure and tools for nonprofit organizations.
• Collaborate with behavioral scientists, researchers, and field teams to translate findings into reusable tools and playbooks.
• Develop rigorous evaluation methods for AI systems and measurable performance improvements.
• Build and iterate on production-grade LLM applications and agentic systems.
