Job summary

Accor's Recreation Attendant role invites you to deliver warm, engaging, locally inspired service to guests using the hotel facilities.

You will assist with towels and chaise lounges, keep the pool area clean, set up cabanas, and help create unique, luxury experiences while upholding safety and appearance standards.

This fast-paced role requires a passion for hospitality and a proactive approach to upselling wellness services.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with guests and assist with towel distribution, chaise lounge covers, and cabana set-up.
• Pick up and remove used towels and debris from pool deck throughout the day.
• Provide warm, personal, luxury service to guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a positive first impression of the pool through cleanliness and ambiance.
• Maintain knowledge of wellness and recreation services and hotel amenities.
• Upsell wellness and recreation offers where possible to increase revenue.
• Perform opening/closing duties and set the pool to standards and procedures.
• Be familiar with hotel fire and life safety procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Perform other duties assigned by hotel management.

Job Description

As a Recreation Attendant you are responsible to provide warm, engaging and authentically local personalized service to all guests who utilize the facilities.

What you will be doing

• Actively engage with guests and assist in all guests needs which may include but are not limited to issuing towels issuing chaise lounge covers assist in chaise lounge set-up and cabana set-up.


• Pick up and remove used towels and debris from the pool deck areas throughout the day.


• Provide unique experiences to all of our guests through warm personal amp detailed service in a luxury upscale and fast paced environment.


• Ensure a positive first impression of the pool for our guests through detailed cleanliness set-up and ambiance control.


• Maintain complete knowledge of all wellness amp recreation services activities amenities and hotel services features.


• Up-sell and promote wellness amp recreation offers at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue.


• Perform opening closing side duties as assigned and set the pool according to standards and procedures.


• Be well versed in hotel fire amp life safety emergency procedures.


• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.


• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel.
