Job summary

The Goods Receiving Inspector is responsible for inspecting, verifying, and documenting incoming goods and materials to ensure they meet specified quality, quantity, safety, and compliance requirements.

The role supports the integrity of the receiving and supply chain process by conducting inspections, identifying non-conforming materials, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, Quality, and other relevant functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in goods receiving or quality inspection.
• Experience with military/weapon-related equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001.
• Proficiency in MS Office; report writing and documentation.
• Strong English written and spoken skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming goods and materials to verify compliance with purchase orders, specifications, and quality standards.
• Verify quantity, condition, identification, labeling, and supporting documentation of received materials.
• Review purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, certificates, and other receiving documentation.
• Conduct quality and visual inspections and identify defects, damages, or non-conformances.
• Document and report non-conforming materials and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers.
• Ensure materials comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Verify material identification, traceability, labeling, and status identification.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Procurement, Logistics, Quality and other departments for smooth receiving and inspection activities.
• Support proper storage and handling following inspection and acceptance.
• Maintain accurate receiving, inspection, non-conformance, and quality records in systems.
• Conduct basic workplace and receiving-area safety and quality inspections.
• Identify workplace hazards and assist in basic risk assessments related to receiving and handling.
• Report incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and quality issues through proper channels.
• Ensure receiving and inspection activities follow QHSE procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve receiving, inspection, documentation, and material control processes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
