Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience in water, wastewater, water treatment, or sewage treatment projects is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, reporting, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Quality Inspectors across disciplines on site.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Plans and inspection procedures.
• Manage inspection and approval processes for construction works, materials, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements, standards, and client specs.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, NCRs, corrective actions, and submissions.
• Attend quality meetings and coordinate with management, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor site activities for compliance with drawings, specs, ITPs and quality standards.
• Maintain complete quality records for project handover.
• Support preliminary and final inspections and ensure quality before handover.
• Monitor internal quality performance and ensure closure of quality observations.

Quality Manager – Water Treatment Project

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Department: Operations & Maintenance

Project: Expansion of a Tertiary Treatment Plant with a capacity of 125,000 m³/day and rehabilitation of the existing plant.

Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead and manage quality assurance and quality control activities for a major water treatment project in Dammam.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities, inspections, documentation, material approvals, and handover requirements are completed in accordance with project specifications, applicable quality standards, approved procedures, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Quality Inspectors across different disciplines at the project site.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Plans, inspection procedures, checklists, and quality documentation.
• Manage inspection and approval processes for construction works, materials, and project deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements, approved procedures, applicable standards, and client specifications.
• Coordinate inspections, testing activities, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality-related submissions.
• Attend periodic quality meetings and coordinate with project management, consultants, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and quality standards.
• Maintain complete quality records and documentation required for project handover.
• Support preliminary and final project inspections and ensure all quality requirements are completed before handover.
• Monitor internal quality performance and ensure timely closure of quality observations and non-conformities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Previous experience in water, wastewater, water treatment, or sewage treatment projects is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in site QA/QC management and quality documentation.
• Familiarity with major infrastructure or utility project quality requirements is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multidisciplinary Quality Inspectors and coordinate with different project stakeholders.
