Job summary

Fichtner Consulting Engineers LLC Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Project Director / Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery and supervision of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.

The candidate must bring a strong track record in construction project management, consultant supervision, stakeholder engagement, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 15–20 years of professional experience.
• At least 10 years in water and wastewater projects.
• Minimum 5 years in PM/Team Leader/Director roles.
• Proven experience leading consultant construction supervision teams.
• Strong background in construction project management, planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk and contract administration.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary and multinational teams of 10+ professionals.
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of claims, variations, and contractual procedures.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Director / Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery and supervision of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in construction project management, consultant supervision services, stakeholder management, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage construction supervision teams on water and wastewater projects.

Provide overall project leadership, planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and financial oversight.

Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact with project stakeholders.

Coordinate multinational teams, contractors, consultants, and authorities to ensure successful project delivery.

Monitor project performance, quality, HSE compliance, risks, claims, and contractual matters.

Review and manage variations, claims, project reporting, and commercial aspects of contracts.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline (Construction or Mechanical Engineering may also be considered).

Minimum 15-20 years of professional experience, including:

• At least 10 years in water and wastewater projects
• Minimum 5 years in Project Manager / Team Leader / Project Director roles

Proven experience leading consultant construction supervision teams on infrastructure, water, or wastewater projects.
