Job summary

Zaramiz Company Ltd is seeking an experienced QC Piping Inspector to oversee piping fabrication, erection, installation, testing and related QA/QC activities across project sites in Saudi Arabia.

The role requires strong knowledge of piping inspection procedures, ITPs, QA/QC documentation, applicable codes and standards, and Saudi Aramco project requirements. A minimum of 6+ years' Gulf experience and Aramco approval are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have piping inspection knowledge, ITPs, QA/QC documentation and Saudi Aramco project requirements.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME Section IX, API standards and Saudi Aramco specs.
• 6+ years of experience as a QC Piping Inspector and Gulf experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect piping fabrication, fit-up, erection, installation and testing per drawings, specs, ITPs and project requirements.
• Perform material receiving, dimensional, fit-up, visual, welding and final inspections of piping systems.
• Verify piping materials, fittings, flanges, valves, gaskets, bolts against specs and MTCs.
• Check pipe alignment, supports, elevations, orientation, slope, flange management and installation tolerances.
• Review isometrics, P&IDs, specifications, WPS/PQR and inspection docs.
• Coordinate and monitor NDT, hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, flushing and reinstatement activities.
• Ensure compliance with ITPs, method statements, QA/QC procedures and Aramco standards.
• Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs/observations and track corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection reports, checklists, weld records, test packages and punch lists.
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, client reps and third-party inspectors.
• Support mechanical completion, punch-list clearance and project handover.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspect piping fabrication, fit-up, erection, installation, and testing activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and project requirements.
• Conduct material receiving, dimensional, fit-up, visual, welding, and final inspections for piping systems.
• Verify piping materials, fittings, flanges, valves, gaskets, bolts, and other components against approved specifications and MTCs.
• Check pipe alignment, supports, elevations, orientation, slope, flange management, and installation tolerances.
• Review and verify isometric drawings, P&IDs, specifications, WPS/PQR, and inspection documentation.
• Coordinate and monitor NDT, hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, flushing, cleaning, and reinstatement activities as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with approved ITPs, method statements, QA/QC procedures, and Saudi Aramco standards.
• Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs/observations, and follow up on corrective actions and closure.
• Maintain inspection reports, checklists, weld records, test packages, punch lists, and other quality documentation.
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, client representatives, and third-party inspectors.
• Support mechanical completion, punch-list clearance, turnover dossier preparation, and project handover.

Mandatory Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 6+ years of relevant experience as a QC Piping Inspector.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant Gulf experience.
• Valid CBT certification, where applicable.
• Valid Saudi Aramco approval or proven experience working on Saudi Aramco projects.
• Strong knowledge of piping inspection, fabrication, erection, testing, ITP, QA/QC documentation, and applicable codes/standards.
• Good understanding of ASME B31.3, ASME Section IX, API standards, and relevant Saudi Aramco specifications.
• Candidates currently available in Saudi Arabia will be given priority.
• Open to candidates from India, Pakistan, Philippines, and eligible local-transfer candidates; Saudi Nationals are not eligible.
