Job summary

Target Engineering Construction Co LLC is seeking a skilled QC Painting/Coating Inspector to join our project team for Oil & Gas EPC mega projects in Saudi Arabia. You will inspect surface preparation and coating applications to ensure compliance with project specifications and QA/QC requirements.

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in Oil & Gas; Diploma or Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering; BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 certification is mandatory.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector Certification (mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of surface preparation and coating applications in accordance with project specifications
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements and applicable international standards
• Review and verify coating reports, inspection records, and calibration certificates
• Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively
• Coordinate with construction and QA/QC teams to maintain quality standards

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Painting / Coating QC Inspector to join our project team. This role is critical in ensuring surface preparation and coating applications meet the highest quality and industry standards within Oil & Gas projects.

YOUR ROLE

As a QC Painting/Coating Inspector, you will

• Perform inspection of surface preparation and coating applications in accordance with project specifications
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements and applicable international standards
• Review and verify coating reports, inspection records, and calibration certificates
• Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively
• Coordinate with construction and QA/QC teams to maintain quality standards

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in Oil & Gas projects
• Experience with coating systems, inspection tools, and reporting procedures

Education / Certifications / Licenses

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Must have BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector Certification (mandatory)

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of surface preparation, painting, and coating inspection standards (ISO, SSPC, NACE)
• Ability to interpret project specifications, ITPs, and engineering drawings
