Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies, based in Riyadh, is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to perform QC tests on materials, manage reports, and maintain laboratory equipment. You will support continuous improvement and ensure compliance with QA/QC standards in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Chemistry with up to two years of experience and is comfortable working in a laboratory setting, following Veolia's safety and regulatory policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in quality control or analytical labs.
• Familiarity with QC tests and lab safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QC tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure standards compliance.

Job Description

Main tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct quality control tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products using various analytical techniques to ensure compliance with standards.


• Generate and communicate accurate QC reports, monitor data trends, and identify potential issues in manufacturing processes.


• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, and prepare chemical solutions for testing and calibration.


• Develop, optimize, and validate QC methods and procedures for improved efficiency and new products.


• Investigate quality deviations, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.


• Manage lab inventory, ensure proper storage of chemicals, and handle laboratory waste in compliance with regulations.


• Adhere to QHSE requirements and maintain documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement solutions.


• Stay current with industry standards and best practices in quality control and analytical chemistry.


• Perform other quality control and laboratory duties as assigned by management.
