Job summary

JAL International Co. Ltd. is seeking a skilled engineer to manage the structured handover of buildings from the Project Management Team to Facility Management in Saudi Arabia.

The role involves verifying design and regulatory compliance, overseeing testing and commissioning, and documenting any violations. Responsibilities include inspecting sites for safety and zoning adherence, making recommendations to improve safety and energy efficiency, and guiding contractors and owners on code

Qualifications

• Engineering Bachelor in Mech/Elect/Civil.
• The candidate will oversee handover of buildings.
• Experience with testing, commissioning, and code compliance is essential.
• Ability to inspect buildings for safety, zoning, and regulatory adherence.
• Experience preparing inspection reports and documenting violations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure readiness of buildings for handover from PMT to Facility Management.
• Verify compliance with design and specifications.
• Monitor testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify and close gaps prior to acceptance.
• Support FMD in technical evaluation and decision-making.
• Inspect buildings for compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Inspect sites to ensure safety and zoning requirements.
• Recommend improvements to safety, accessibility, and energy efficiency.
• Test electrical wiring, HVAC, plumbing, and other systems for code compliance.
• Identify and document code violations and provide guidance for correction.
• Create reports documenting inspections and violations.
• Issue notices and citations for violations.
• Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure corrections are completed.
