Job summary

Dar Al Riyadh Group is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer – Design with 7–10+ years in a design consultancy to ensure all deliverables meet client expectations and industry standards. You will review drawings, manage QMS, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Architecture background, ISO 9001:2015 experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication in English. Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architecture)
• 7–10+ years experience as QA/QC Engineer in design consultancy
• Strong knowledge of design QA/QC procedures, codes, and international standards
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Proficiency in MS Office and design/document control software
• Certification in Quality Assurance (ISO, Six Sigma, or equivalent) is preferred

Responsibilities

• Review design drawings, calculations, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) for design projects
• Conduct quality checks and audits of design deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency across all disciplines
• Identify non-conformances in design work, issue NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
• Support design teams in understanding and applying QA/QC procedures and standards
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with QA/QC Manager to ensure design quality objectives are achieved
• Prepare quality reports, checklists, and documentation to support audits and client submissions
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant international quality standards
• Promote continuous improvement and support training sessions on quality requirements for design staff
