Job description

Core responsibilities

• Set-up, operate and monitor specialized heating equipment
• Control temperature cycles on welded metal components to reduce stress
• Follow instructions for techniques and procedures provided by the project specification
• Establish techniques for proper examination of specimens under inspection
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards, involving detailed documentation
• Perform pre‑ and post‑treatment checks and conduct post‑treatment hardness tests
• Work closely with welders, engineers and supervisors
• Actively participate in client safety initiatives and incident investigations
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of PWHT equipment, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Perform other job‑related tasks as assigned by management

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2–3 years related experience
• NDT certification (optional)
